  • Juan Pablo Montoya of Team Penske Wins Indy

A Memorial Day tradition continues at The Brickyard -- he celebrates with a bottle of milk! He started 30th and won it, 15 years after his first win. Great drive!

        Mourning Doves were fucking in

        my backyard, earlier.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

            Yeah -- Boring...

...by the way, when was the last time time you drove a vehicle at 230 miles an hour?

In a never ending circle? It's like watching paint dry.

Would be the same if they were going 5 mph.

Nope. That was the ceremonial downing of the Sacred Holiday Aramingo

You Would Have Gotten Along Great With A Friend Of Mine

He and I used to have some real donnybrooks about that very subject. He was a road course freak and I liked Indy and NASCAR. We'd go back and forth, raised voices -- a stranger would have thought we hated each other. Finally one of us would pause and say, "Damn, that was fun, we'll have to do it again!"

                    And we would.

                    Memories, memories.

If they could bottle the act of listening to you/reading you and sell it, it would be the best selling sleeping aid on the market, hands down.

I'm with ya there. It's okay for maybe 3 or 4 laps, them it's a snooze fest. If I had to watch a race, it would be more along the lines of the F1 Grand Prix type of thing. More interesting course, at least for the casual observer.
