  • I don't think these receivers are better than the ones FF left Chip

They should be 100% better than the ones Chip left Peds, but let's not start sucking each other's dicks over a guy who had his best seasons on the same field with Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett, and a guy who a lot of people forgot was in the league the past two years.

They'll be good enough to stop bitching about the weapons for a minute.

On another note a lot of has been RBs out there who can be as good or better than Matthews. Let's get one!

Jeffrey is better than DJ and Maclin. Not so sure about Smith. Hopefully he bounces back.

I know this...our receiving corps went from one of the league's worst to one of its best.

            Yeah...you don't know that, because it didn't.

As far as the subject at hand, FF definitely left Chip a better group than this. But DJax and Maclin never saw the field at the same time. I think Alshon/Smith/Matthews could definitely be as good as DJax/Cooper/Avant or Maclin/Cooper/Matthews.

That second group sounds better on paper, but Foles was obviously much more comfortable with Jackson on the field than without. I think Alshon could have that effect for Wentz.

He played 9 games in 2015 and was on pace for 96 receptions, 1434 yards, and 7 TDs. In 2016, he started the season with Cutler and in the first 2 games he had 9 receptions and 201 yards. Hoyer and Barkley took over and it went south.

Do you know what's even better than playing alongside Marshall and Bennett? Playing in Chip Kelly's offense. I'm not sure Jeffrey will ever stay healthy but he's better than Jackson and Maclin....and certainly better than that turd Kenny Britt.

Not quite the level of critique as that one guy you know from Chicago.

Probably why Dan Snyder hasn't called.

That's going a little too far. IF Jeffrey stays clean and healthy, IF Smith returns to form (even 2015 form), IF Matthews thrives in the slot, IF Agholor turns a corner and proves he can play in the NFL, IF they hit on whoever they draft in the first four rounds... they could end up with one of the better WR corps in the league.

We're a long way from knowing how it will all shake out. It's a hell of a lot more promising that JMatt, Agholor, Randle and Givens, but the Winston Wolff rule is most definitely in effect.

You mean they didn't see the field at the same time under Chip, right? They had a nice season together under Reid, that came to an end with McNabb's air guitar. I think Maclin had the only TD in that game. Then the next season as well.

Maclin caught the TD from Vick

went back and looked after I had an inkling that was the case.

On a more upbeat note, the ESPN take was something along the lines of "Romo silences his doubters". Bwah.

No but they are light years better than what 5 had in 2000

and I think thats what is important,,,they learned from the mistakes of the past and are trying to get the kid someone to throw too,,,and Chip is a cock! Fin!

Yes, I am referring to the fact that they never saw the field together under Chip. And thinking about it a little more, I think these guys are better than the 13 or 14 group.

Alshon has his question marks but snakebitten is right, he crushed it when he played in 15, and last year he had Hoyer and Barkley throwing to him (still had 800 yards in 12 games). It's scary that he's a failed test away from a 10-game suspension, but you can count on him to stay on the field as much as you can DJax. And definitely more than Maclin.

If you want to suck Maclin's dick you can but a pointless discussion . Those guys are long gone. You can compare numbers at the end of the season if you like. Chip fkked up bad however it works out.

The real comparison is Agholor and DGB. You gotta have some sort of alternative agenda to nitpick these signings.
