  • MyCock still thinks Iggs take a WR

    .....namely Wiliams.

Doesn't like all the 1 year contracts, Sproles is retiring, Mathews entering a contract year, too much risk not to have more permanent talent for the investment of Wentz.

I can see his point.....guess we will know soon.

Went needs a guy to grow with. Be it Williams or Davis or somebody else, a premiere WR would be a welcome addition.

Agree. I'd be happy with either of those guys. Don't want Ross.

Not a fan of Williams- Unbelievable at contested catches and ball skills but his route running scares me and I don't think he will be able to beat the press well at the NFL level.

Edit to add: Derek Barnett has been growing on me the more I watch of him... Potential to be a big time pass rusher but his arm length is similar to Brandon Grahams which will result in a ton of hurries but not a lot of sacks. Go-Go gadget arms are such an advantage when it comes to pass rushing. But I think Barnett's physicality and ability to edge rush could make him a flat stud in a few years. Improve his technique and he will be a wrecking ball to QBs.

I don't know. Williams seems like a star to me. Could be wrong. I saw Davis play only a few times but he had that TO look to me (not saying he'll be that good). I don't think you go wrong with either. If neither of them are there, it seems to me that there should be some defensive talent to choose from (Barnett, Foster, Humphrey, etc). I'm more on the fence about Cook. I don't think McCaffrey will be there at 14.

Seems like there should be options at 14. Just don't get too cute.

I will smile if its Williams

Yea he's a lil slow but thats what we signed Smith for. At this point our other needs seem to be larger than WR and if Wentz is the real deal he will make the Wr's better than they are, not Vise versa...

I said this on another thread. Top drafted CB and this D will still suck ass.. I rather invest into everything possible for Wentz and his development.

I agree and wouldn't mind offense at all. LOVE Corey Davis but he will not be there at #14.

Barnett has some of the best hands in the draft. He is extremely skilled at arm overs, arm unders, rips and hand fighting. Dude has violent hands. I think he is extremely similar Michael Bennett of the Seahawks. Not the most athletic guy on the field, but win with violent hands. Will only get better as well once he gains some more technique.
