They lost a lot of games under this clown in the last minute. Way before Ben came.

How is it his fault that his prized sniper missed two open three pointers, that would have put the game away?

You shouldn’t be shooting 3 pointers up by 11 with 2 minutes left.

Rocket score 11 straight to end the game.

Yes you should, when you're JJ Redick with a wide open shot, twice

What about the fouls to give?

His biggest mistake was having Bayless out there over McConnell down the stretch.

Ben not having a jumper and being a liability at the line makes it impossible for him to be “the guy” late in games. That’s what they drafted Fultz to do, who knows if he can ever get right and be that guy again. Until then, Embiid and his large toolbox of ways to score and 93% FT shooting needs the ball in his hands.

And yes, JJ should absolutely be shooting wide open 3s late in games, especially late in the clock.

He just needs to be more aggressive there. He had his defender beat, go up with it.

No you don't. You drain the clock and get a higher percentage shot by driving closer to the basket to extend the lead by going to the foul line or shooting a short jumper

Maybe pre-1979. You must've missed the last 30+ years of basketball, where the 3 point shot is an increased weapon that can be used to crush teams. Not this time, but not a bad shot. Sixers will have a few of these games as the team learns how to win. Talent is certainly there.

Let me try this again why the liquor stores are still open

When you shoot a 3 pointer, you are further away from the basket which makes it a low percentage shot. If you drive closer to the basket its a higher percentage shot because you are closer to the basket.

When a nba team has the lead, these things must happen

                          Drain the shot clock
                          Shoot short jumpers
                          Drive to the basket

JJ redick shoots 41.5% from three, and 44.7 from the field for his career. A wide open shot from three for him is a considerably better shot then a contested two, especially as a 33 year old that isn't getting better looks off the dribble nowadays.

                            Take the L.

Are you familiar with STOP and POP? Thats how you score when you have a lead in the NBA late in the game.
