  • Have we given enough props to Darby yet?

He’s probably the guy we groan about the most. He gave himself up on that block, pushed the ball to Graham on that INT, and hasn’t given up much this postseason.

I agree he’s played well. He’s gonna have to be on point to stay with Cooks. I wonder if he’ll shadow or stay on his side.

he's been very good. a couple rough spots against NYG and oakland, but he also came up with huge picks in those games. with this pass rush and his ball skills, he's gonna make a few pro bowls here. nice job by howie to grab a young corner and have a succession plan in place for after this year.

Darby did a great job on the INT, BUT he needs to stop playing off 10 years when it's 3rd and 6, I mean if they need 4,5,6,7 ? yard why do you play off 10 and back peddle immediately when the ball is snapped.

Gotta take the bad with the good, I suppose. I shudder to think of receivers getting past him, but he battles if he sticks close. And damn...that block was one of those mutual annihilation things. Self sacrifice for the score. Gotta like that, as long as he doesn't totally take himself out of the game.

TO ME C.B.'S DO THAT TO NOT GET BURNED LONG ON A DOUBLE MOVE. IF YOUR UP TIGHT, THAT DOUBLE MOVE IS EASIER TO PULL OFF, YOUR BITING ON IT.

I'm pretty sure Schwartz calls the coverages

Do we like him better than Samuel? He seems to understand that he gets paid to tackle, so I think I do.

I watched the other side DB and he was always doing the same thing, it’s by design.

Schwartz has been more on than off so have to give him credit but would like to know more of the thinking behind the strategy.

I’m guessing he relies on that front 4 to get the pressure and wants nobody getting behind the defense.

I've been very down on him all year since his return from injury but I must give him his due, has played lights out this playoffs! Let's see him contain Cooks keep everything in front on him good think is dude has great closing speed as long as he doesn't bite on double moves which I am sure Belicheat and the Cheatriots will study and be the only team in the playoffs so far this year to try and exploit that against this secondary

Our secondary is going to get pick plays from Belichick from the opening gun:
