  • The case for Agholor as LII MVP

Rewatched yesterday, talk about clutch...big grab down the middle to set up Ertz TD, broken tackle to keep a scoring drive alive on a pass that left him a good 4 yards shy of a first down, basically a nightmare matchup for the Pats, turned it up once Gilmore went on Alshon. Every one of his catches was huge.

No complaints here with Foles at all, but it would’ve made an incredible comeback season even more so.

Drop the hammer, Bro. I think the guy at work who is a Pats fan may have already put in his notice. Big mistake admitting that one, there comes a time where it’s ok to lie just a little.

On a team of great stories, Nelson's is second only to Nick's. I remember hearing him talking at his locker during OTA's, and you could just tell he was a changed man. He wasn't just saying the right things, you could see he believed every word of it.

Seeing a kid rise from the ashes like that, with the whole city calling for his head... just an amazing thing to witness.

But Foles is the undisputed MVP, now and forever. A solid case can be made for Nelson as the runner up. Corey Clement would also have a really strong case. Both of them were money.

Posted this before ... I have a friend who's a Cowboy fan (thus, no dog in the fight) and he told me that he thought Agholor was the MVP of the game.

9 times out of 10 it is going to be the winning QB. Nick was amazing in the SB. Having said that Nelson deserves his kudos as well.

He's one of my best friends ... he knows as much about football as anyone here ... the point is that Agholor stood out to him when he wasn't really paying as close attention to the game as he likely would have if the Cowboys were playing.

Not that I needed his confirmation ... I watched it intently ... Agholor was money.
