I'm skeptical as well. Guy has had problems everywhere but NE. We don't have the Belicheat/Brady fall in line culture here. Hope I'm wrong.

Edit - I guess at 1 year it's pretty low risk.

            Yes finally!!

Looks like he chose Philly over NY and AZ:

....he can be cut as well if he doesn't bring it.

I would say Smallwood would be at risk unless they consider Pumphrey a WR type of guy.

Matthews is still on the roster

                  So he's gone!

Pumphrey will be a scat back/kick returner; Smallwood and Sproles, will spell Blount. Pumphrey could be a PS guy.

New England will sign him and he'll rush for 1300 yards. Book it.

Zero chance of Pumphrey going to the Practice Squad.

yeah, no risk, but this really makes it sting that they didn't get cook. while blount and sproles could be solid for a year, they're both gone after 2017. and you have to think at least two of the WRs are gone. of course we need jeffery to work out, but i think all this turnover would compound the problem if he's a bust.

Nice way to waste 2.8 million you did not have to spend. You have 4 backs now, 2 speed smaller guys, 1 power back and Sproles. Kind of thought they would settle in with these guys.

Base salary is $1.25 million, only 400k is guaranteed. It's a great deal. Sproles/Smallwood/Pumphrey would have been the weakest RB corps in the league.

Sorry I just saw the 2.8 million, do not forget they got Clement who is a big back and can get you the 2-3 yards going straight up the middle.

Sproles will be gone, replaced by Pumphrey. Blount could resign on another 1 year deal and we could still spend a high pick on a RB. This is pending how Clement d
                                looks.
