I just can't envision a scenario where the NBA doesn't make sure that the Sixers do NOT get the Lakers pick tonight.

      Level of agreement: 99.99 percent.

But look what happened with the Flyers!

I think the NBA is more corrupt.

This is the only big night for the Sixers, every year, for the past 5 years.

It's sort of sickening when you think about it.

And they are probably the second most promising franchise in the city. Sickening.

I'm okay with that. The lakers pick is unprotected next year.

I agree it's sad, but what can you do? Their 2 stars both had serious injuries. There's really no one to blame...

They are much closer to contending than you think.

I said they were the 2nd most promising franchise in the city and that doesn't make make what I said untrue.

Sorry, somehow I read it as "next five years" instead of "past five years."

What franchise do you think is more promising? Outside of the Sixers it's hard to see the arrow really pointing up

You don't think the birds are moving in the right direction?

I don't see the eagles ever being a serious contender under Pederson
