                  bad news.
If fans want to buy a philadelphia uniform, but you don't want to spend too much money, then you should find custom jerseys to shop.

I saw Soundgarden and Chris Cornell at a club in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn back in 1989.

The club was called L'Amour. I remember we took the subway to the place because none of us wanted to drive. Interesting club. I think somewhat connected. There were chicas working the crowd selling beer and cigarettes.

Anyway most memorable moment was that there was some sort of pipe on the ceiling going from the stage over the crowd. Chris Cornell decided to use this pipe to climb out over the crowd while performing. Needless to say the audience went nuts. Truly memorable.

                      RIP

                        OMG

My friend just shared this video of the concert. Incredible. So it wasn't 1989, it was 1990.

Right before they hit it big. Always fun in those days to see a band before they were all over mtv and playing stadiums.

Towards the end of the video, Cornell says "There's another band yet to play." I forgot about that... It was Faith No More that was the headliner. We were there to see Soundgarden. We missed the first band which was Voivod.

I think we got back to my place in Queens around 5 am. Amusing sidelight... while walking back to my house from the subway station we encountered a car with a girl giving a BJ to a guy. We all laughed but kept walking on by.

Here's the thing about Chris Cornell, IMO.

He could power through about any song and hit it with power. A lot of singers can do that.

But if you needed power in the high range of singing he could hit it.

                              Super strong vocalist.
