  • Admittedly I am behind the times

dramatically. But I had no idea "swatting" was a thing.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/alleged-s...223700818.html

But the possibilities for igglephans are endless:

"Hello, 9-1-1? I'd like to report the stockpiling of stolen Aramingos in a garage at Kelly Green's house. Just follow the trail of mayonnaise. Yes, he's armed and dangerous. Come in with guns blazing..."

"Hello, 9-1-1? I'd like to report a KKK rally taking place in the backyard of godfather's mother's house. He lives in the basement, and they have pitchforks and torches and I'd come in there with guns blazing...."

"Hello, 9-1-1? I'd like to report an Asian lesbo porno ring taking place in Irish George's living room. Wear boots with good traction, there's a lot of Vaseline in there. Come in with condoms blazing..."

“ Hello 9-1-1? I’d like to report a whore. Her name is 3I’s Mom. There’s a line of Dicks outside her crack house. Many are underaged boys. Don’t go in... “hands on the hips with it whipped out!” She’ll recognize the penis and know it’s a bust. Calmly punch her in the face. She’ll say that’s an extra ten. Tell her to shut up bitch, cuff her, and donkey punch until she turns over the money...”

This sort of thing is f*cked up, especially with the hair trigger mentality of so many cop forces nowadays.

A few years ago, I invited a friend of mine over to watch the Super Bowl. They never showed for the game. I knew they had a new roommate, so I was a little concerned.

So I call the cops in their town... not 911, explain the situation and ask them to check in on them. Well, the cops did check in fully equipped with a battering ram, etc.

I just wanted them to knock on the door to see if things were ok.

I guess that is what they did. Fortunately, I don't believe they had weapons drawn when my friend answered the door, but I can see how things can get out of control fast.

I will never do anything like that again.

I think most people now hesitate to call the police unless it’s life or death because of how militarized the police now are.

A little worried that most of the articles written on this story solely blame the idiot prankster (which he deserves) but no one is criticizing the cowboy mentality of the police.

It ain't just the po po

Some time ago my son knocked over a bottle of cologne in the bathroom.

The CO detector went off in the hallway just outside the bathroom.

I unplugged it ... aired out on my porch for 8 hours and plugged it back in the next day.

              It went off again.

I called the local volunteer fire department ... told them what happened and asked them if they could send a guy with a CO meter.

The next thing I know ... the street is blocked off by two pump trucks and a guy comes out of one in a hazmat suit that had him looking like he's landing on the moon.

It was nothing ... I needed to go to Home Depot and get a new CO detector because the cologne apparently fucked up the one I had.

Here's a major difference about what I did and this douche's swatting. I was seriously concerned about my friend as I had not heard from them, but I did not call 911... I called the local police office and explained the situation calmly.

I told the cops I didn't know if something serious was going on. Just that I was concerned.

This swatting douche flat out declared it was a hostage situation. Actually he declared he was the guy taking hostages! He should be tried for homicide.

Jeez, nothing is proportional anymore. Seems crime has gone down in the last few decades and fear turned up.

If it's supposedly a hostage situation, how do you immediately shoot the first unarmed guy to walk out of the building? Could that not potentially have been a hostage? Ridiculous.

John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Why can't they ever shoot in the leg?
I do not trust cops, as the facts seem to show they can kill us and get away with it.
