...but those Sixers? Now that is special. I don't think the Nation's attention is on them. Not a big deal to the national fan base. Its mostly about the Bulls collapse than the Sixers rising up.
But for me, the idea of seeing a Sixers/Celtics playoff series is something I'm really looking forward to. I think it would be good for the NBA. Is Andrew Toney still around? |

bulls lost the MVP and now have lost their best big man...this isn't impressive for the sixers. it's okay, but they are going to get stomped in the second round.

You have to take advantage of a team when they're down. Just ask the Nationals, Mets, Braves and Marlins, all of whom are ahead of a Phils team stripped of its two best power hitters at the moment. But the Nats or Braves better have at least a 20 game lead on the Phils come August.

Doesn't ref know that the key to a winning sports franchise is to lose as many games as possible, avoid the postseason and get high draft picks??

The good news is the NBA is not like other sports. The Sixers are locked in the #15 position in the draft no matter what. That was my biggest concern for them winning this fraud series is going 4 spots down in the draft if they win this round and having the Bulls draft ahead of them.

I get what you are saying, but I thought you hated to see your team beat another team without there best players available because of injury.
Didn't you say that in the past and recently, like a couple of weeks ago? Best against best or something? |
