It's gonna fly like a lead balloon. There's not enough talent for this, and McMahon isn't going to put up the money to draw talent from other established leagues. CFL is a legitimate outlet for NCAA talent that doesn't get drafted to get to the NFL. It is a different game but it's legitimate football. The Arena League is also there. Where is McMahon going to draw his talent from?? Yeah he'll prob get some Arena League guys, and some CFL players but he isn't going to pay the money to get good players and nor will CFL players leave for the XFL redo. This is a farce like the WWE and McMahon.

I would rather be watching an NFL consolation game this weekend, Vikings vs Jags for 3rd place....something fun for the fans IF the NFL paid the teams enough to want to do it. The NFL has done dumber stuff like 6 exhibition pre-season games, NFL champs vs college all-stars and of course the annual Pro-Bowl which ran it's course. I want some NFL football this weekend dammit !
