Okafor cannot play PF in this league. He can't guard centers, he's certainly not going to be able to hang with stretch 4s. Plus, they have this guy named Ben Simmons penciled in at the PF position.

I think Noel's defensive versatility makes him a hotter commodity on the trade market, but his contract then affects that.

This is all based on Embiid staying healthy through the course of the season, but I'd trade Noel now to Boston and then trade Okafor after the season to a team who missed out on the lottery and needs a big.

Was thinking the same thing..

last night while I watched Okafor standing in the offensive zone while the rest of the team ran back to play D. Then he sort of jogged back.


JoJo had a nice mid-range game last night and even hit a three.


And forget the Hack a Shaq on him. The guy is a great foul shooter.


Sad thing is, I can almost see Noel leaving as a free agent at the end of the season.
