Leave the Big East. Creighton, Xavier and Butler join. Three “mid-majors.” Villanova proceeds to whip up on the little sisters of the poor and build momentum in 30+ win seasons en route to two national championships.

Now, you have to play your schedule. But canonizing Jay Wright is absolutely insane. He’s a great coach of the very best team that plays it’s regular season against the D (G?) - League. It’s not difficult for a team like Villanova to put together 6/7 wins against Texas Tech, a big win over Kansas...happens all the time in this sport.

This is like the Eagles going 16-0 in the CFL, entering the NFL playoff bracket and winning a Super Bowl.

No one finds the timing of all this interesting? Suddenly Jay Wright is Naismith. They are the beneficiary of the complete dissolution of competition in their conference. And don’t tell me St. John’s and Seton Hall were good this year. Those teams are dogs.

    WHO PISSED IN YOUR CHEERIOS?

CAN'T TAKE AWAY WHAT THIS TEAM, UNDER MR. WRIGHT HAS DONE. TWO OUT OF THREE YEARS, NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

YOU SOUND LIKE THEM COCKROACH FANS, "SURE THE EAGLES WON, BUT LOOK AT THEIR SCHEDULE".
"LIFE IS FULL OF 4TH AND 1 DECISIONS, CHOOSE YOUR NEXT CROSSROADS WISELY.

I'm pretty indifferent as far as Nova guys, but I can appreciate the way guys like IrishGeorge feel about it.

However, blaming this on the conference is silly.

Nova Beat WVU. Syracuse barely got in and got hot. Louisville got Pitinoed (also not good enough), Notre Dame wasn't good enough, and UConn and Pitt stink.

This is pretty extreme sour grapes.

Jay Wright is a two time champion

          That's all that matters.

Villanova was clearly the best team this year. They beat West Virginia, UConn, Xavier (twice), Kansas, Michigan, and Texas Tech this year. They made it look very easy in the tournament. They are elite.

              JFC Really??
Boeheim needs to retire already. Your program fools teams for two weekends at most in March with the ghey zone it employs. It has collapsed from where it was as a program. Your best recruit just bolted. We dismantled the BIG 12, The best conference in CBB on our way to our 3rd NCAA Championship.....SDASTFU.... GO NOVA

Kansas got there ass kicked and that was a statement game.

Do you need Laurie Fine to give you some cuddles and tell you it'll all be ok.
