    Is the Eagles got shafted.

  • #2
Why, do they dislike Alonso or just love Shady?

Are the Bills deep at LB?

don't they still have a crappy OL?

If so then Shady is gonna have a tough time running and Cassel might have a tough time staying off his back

If they try to run him between the tackles

Now Shady didn't quite hit the magic number (310-315 carries in the past two years) but then again a lot of these didn't factor in the number of catches.

I'm happy for 'em. Hopefully they will get as much enjoyment out of McCoy as we did.

They probably are reliving their O.J. Simpson days.

It's one of those trades both sides could currently see as a win.

The Bills defense was good last year without Alonso, so he was just a spare part.

McCoy was going to paid a lot this year, had his play fall off a little last year (though still a good year and with an OL that didn't have its shit together for the first half of the season) and has had a ton of touches the last few years.

Things could be very different at the end of the season, though.

Kelly could fail to find a good enough replacement to Shady for this offense to thrive. And McCoy could have a shitty year behind a crummy offensive line.
