The snow is still over my knees at my house. It's been a long winter here.
        All you enjoy!

BELIEVE ME I'M NO ROCKET SCIENTIST. IF I WERE I'D BE, WELL, WORKING ON ROCKETS .
WEATHER IS ALWAYS AT BEST A GUESS.
I ALWAYS GO TO ACCUWEATHER APP, IT'S USUALLY PRETTY ACCURATE.
LOVE THE MINUTE CAST. IF IT SAYS RAIN IN 20 MINUTES, IT DOES.
IT WAS CALLING FOR A FOOT AROUND THESE PARTS, ABOUT RIGHT. TRY IT.

Storms like that make me miss home. My Mom believes this is most the twin tiers got since Christmas 1971. They got hammered with approximately 2 feet.

                Why? This sucks.

Binghamton and Owego have both had over 30 inches. Up here in Buffalo we've only had about 18 but we are still getting hammered and probably will for the rest of the day. You'd think with the NCAA tournament in town the mayor would ease up on the no-plow rule and try to put the city's best foot forward but no.

                  You guys got hammered.

I thought we were going to get whacked on L.I. with 12-18 but it ended up that the rain/snow line moved west and it was about 6 snow and then a shitload of sleet/ice pellets/rain that froze when the temperature dropped into the 20's.

In some ways this is worse than 12 inches of snow ... it's a skating rink on most sidewalks this morning.

However, 20-30 is an entirely other matter ... imagine I'd take even this shit over that any day.
Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

I miss huge storms like this when you can't go anywhere for a few days. Gives me good excuse to day drink.

Not saying I wanna STAY. just get whalloped and then head back south in a week.

                      Yes, asshat, yes they do.

Its an EDUCATED (something you wouldn't know much about) guess. That's what meteorology is.
