The tenor was not "yay something happened and didn't involve guns", the tenor was yet another ISLAMIC terrorist attack that no one is doing anything about and the laughable antigun nutz won't even mention it because it didn't involve guns.

I disagree. I think the tenor was somewhat celebratory about the method of attack.

For me, I believe gun violence and terrorism are both major problems and both need to be addressed. In my mind the ability of terrorists to kill people with bombs, etc. does not change the fact that the US has a major problem with gun violence.

I personally didn't say anything about this terrorist attack because I hate politics on the board and I knew that was where any discussion would go.

the last word is that I never said anything about obama or claiming you were anti islam. i could care less about your feelings about islam. all i said, which you repeatedly ignore because you cower like an infant from the argument you tried to start, is gun control has nothing to do with islamic terrorist attacks abroad.

I was in Nice and Monaco for Thanksgiving 2014

I can remember precisely where that attack took place, went for a few runs along there. Very much a resort and textbook "soft target." Have no clue how they will respond, but the people were much nicer than I expected them to be.

i think right wing politics are prevailing in france right now, or at least gaining steam. it's very popular for young people to be right wing in france. not at all similar to young people rallying behind the podemos(communist) party in spain. maybe it has something to do with these attacks.

i really hate european politics. everyone always asks you if you're left wing or right wing. it's all extremely predictable. young and poor people left, old and rich people white. i suppose american politics are similar, but in europe left wing actually means socialist and/or communist. i'm astounded by the amount of "communists" i know(in quotes because i'm pretty sure these people will stop being communists by the time they're 30).
