  • How can we contend with the Giants defense?

That defense is gonna be nuts this upcoming year.

Two legit #1 corners on the outside in DRC and Prince. Dynamic slot corner in Walter Thurmond

3 ballhawking safeties in Will Hill, Antrel Rolle, Stevie Brown

^^^With that lights out secondary they are going to smother every team's receivers and tight ends. Blanket coverage and picks galore.

A true run-stuffing MLB in Jon Beason who's a tremendous leader. A physical SAM linebacker in Jameel McClain. An athletic WILL in Jaquian Williams.

JPP coming back 100% healthy and in his contract year with a lot to prove.

Big John Hankins at the nose clogging up the run (basically Linval Joseph on steroids). Mike Patterson backing him up.

Cullen Jenkins the quick penetrating 3-technique DT

Robert Ayers a great run-stuffer at LDE who has improved his pass-rush.

Highly talented pass-rusher Damontre Moore in his 2nd year who should break out.

That's gonna be a dominant defense (Top 5 overall), and is far and away the best D in the division by a country mile.

This post is among the geighest ever - and the competition is fierce. I must have missed it when Prince went from draft bust to legit #1 cb. That 1 Int per season must have qb's around the nfl fearing his side of the field.

LMAO, draft bust? Again, another clueless dolt who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Prince has been a great cover corner the last 2 years. Gave up ZERO touchdowns this past season.

The strength of the Giants defense this past season was their secondary since their pass-rush sucked, and Prince was the #1 corner.

LOL @ you judging corners by the # of picks they get. Holy smokes you're stupid.

You mean with absolutely no offensive line this past 2013 season?

Giants signed Geoff Schwartz, the top rated guard in FA by a country mile. 6'6, 340 pound mauler who's a great pass-blocker and run-blocker. He'll be the LG this year. They also signed 6'5 335 pound mauling Right Guard John Jerry. They signed JD Walton who was on the verge of becoming one of the better centers in the league before he got injured.

Eli also has Rashad Jennings in the backfield. A legit every-down starting RB who runs hard, is a tremendous receiver, and blocks well.

Eli will also be playing in Ben McAdoo's QB-friendly offense that emphasizes high-percentage, low-risk passes. Think Green Bay's offense.

How will "we" contend with the Vagiants? proably by winning the division again.

                    Take a hike, asshole.

Again, you're closer to finishing last in the division than first.

The 2013 Redskins came into the season expecting to repeat from their 2012 success. How did that work out for them? Oh yeah they went 3-13.

The NFC East has extreme parity (judging by zero repeat division winners the last DECADE).

Eagles aren't winning the division in 2014. Period.

And quickly exited the playoffs in the 1st round.

One and Done losers was all you guys were last season.

Eagles were supremely lucky with injuries last season. They had what, 1 guy on IR? They were arguably the healthiest team in the league, certainly by far in the division. and you still only squeaked in as division champs.

Meanwhile, the Giants were the single most injured team in the league last season. 91 games missed by starters due to injury. The next highest wasn't close.

The injury bug affects different teams every year. The bottom line is the 2013 Eagles were extremely fortunate to be healthy all year.

No elite QB, not his brother, not Drew Brees, not Tom Brady, none of them have ever had a year as bad as last year. And, he waits until now to get his ankle cleaned out and will miss install of the new offense.

They could be good, but it isn't going to be their defense. Crap, Washington's defense is better.

Could you please use some other handle than PSU because you sound much more like a VaTech or UMiami fan. You are giving the Lions a bad sheen.
