Oh, I remember that game. The most sickening part, personally, was the immediacy with which my cell phone blew up with texts from my Giants buddies as soon as Plax caught that TD pass (I think that is how the Giants won, if I remember correctly). The Miracle in the Meadowlands II more than made up for it, but still...

The Eagles website already went jinxworth mentioning that the Birds have won their last 4 primetime games against the Giants.

It'd be like old times--losing the game before the bye. But I think that they'll come out and get a win in this one--they have the advantage of playing after Dallas visits Seattle.
On a side note--I didn't know you were a Gunners fan.

Yeah, I've told this story on here before, but I used to go to this soccer camp run by English players back in the day (when I was in grade school) and I was obsessed with this one instructor. I think I asked him what I had to do to be like him and he said "buy a Clash album and root for Arsenal." So, I had my mom take me to the mall to buy a Clash cassette and I've been an Arsenal fan since. I used to be really into EPL and then kind of stopped following for some time. Got back into it the last 2 or 3 years. Makes it easier that all the games are on now.

I think we all sat together that game. Baked in the sun. Slow and painful comeback. Kearse had an awesome game, only to be lost for the year in an unnecessary overtime.
