Trotter played for both Ron Rivera and Sean McDermott. 97.5 this morning he talked about the two seasons after JJ died and McDermott took over. Called him "arrogant" - his words, not mine. Said he dismantled JJ's system instead of tweaking it. Trotter believes Rivera is the one responsible for the Panthers defensive success. To be fair, gave McDermott the benefit of the doubt and suggests he might have changed since being in Carolina. He painted a picture of a guy with a sizable ego, though.
