Actually he does have a major list of accomplishments, and is the best QB the Eagles have ever had!!
So you are somewhat correct in saying he is awesome, he does lack a SB win, and we all know how only the QB is responsible for winning the SB. Just trying to give back some to Igglephans for the education received today…

I could list all his stats, probowls, and playoff record if would that help?
And I think it has been beaten to death about how many of those stats he did with the likes of Fred Ex and the Trash's of the world... But yah man, he is horrible...

And now that he has all those weapons that certain people clamored for we're seeing the same results.

i don't give a shit about probowls, he got one this year, it mean nothing. so you give him all the credit for playoff wins but not the blame for losses? |

I have never not blamed him for a loss, you are mistaken.
And he got all those stats in spite of the system!!!

Although if someone is daffy enough to give up a number one for him then Andy should jump at that.
Only problem is that they will most likely turn around and trade that number one pick to Dallas for two number fours and a five. |

He won at least one playoff game every time he made it with shitty receivers before. Why would he regress once they're good?

Have it your way, Reid is absolved of blame, it is all McNabb, he plays defense as well!!
And I am willing to bet you would look good throwing to Fitz, Boldin, and Breaston, but who needs talent around them?!?

He has had Jax and Celek for 2 years!! Yah the scheme is bullshit as well, especially when you don't have the talent it calls for, now they finally do and Igglephans wants to run the QB out of town!
No wonder Philly fans get such shit.

But maybe you didn't mean scheme in the case of Arizona and you were saying that McNabb would succeed in AZ because he would have Fitz, Boldin and Breaston. So your argument is that it's not really the pass/run ratio - it's the weapons again.

I don't care how much talent the team has, Reid's scheme is not a championship winning scheme.
That said, the Eagles would be best to get the highest pick they can for McNabb, extend kolb and let Kolb and Vick sort out who will be the starter in TC. The Eagles can get more for McNabb than Vick and they have to extend some sort of commitment to Kolb. Being that he is a former 2nd rounder who appears to be at least a backup, the most intelligent move is to see if he can establish he's more prepared to run this wacky, crazy offense than Vick. If he is, he gets the ball, if not it's Vick for 2010. Either way, it makes the most sense to cut ties with Sex Panther unless they are willing to give him a contract extension. The worse thing Howie and Co. can do is go into 2010 with McNabb as the clear-cut starter with one year left on his contract. That would be the ultimate bush league move.

You do realize McNabb has been here for 10 plus years right? Would you say that 8/11 years there was a lot of talent at WR??
So not only has he been in the wrong Offense all 10+ of his career, but he didn't have much talent at WR around him for what about 72% of his career. I mean unless you think McNabb is a good WC QB? Which I don't. And unless you think Trash, Pinkston, and the like are all-world WR's? Which I don't. So out of the 3 years with legit talent at WR, let's see we went to the Super bowl, almost twice and lost to Dallas. Yah I don't think that is too bad, I would almost be inclined to see what one more year with the talented kids around him would do! But since the Pig Sticker played ok in two games this year, one being the Chiefs, I can see why people want to move on! ![]()
