  • Another Loss For The Floundering Manuels

What a pathetic excuse of managing tonight. Fucking putrid from the lineup to the switches.

    I called Cholly this afternoon...

and told them the Phillies needed to lose so Anthony would have a reason to post.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

      I keep telling myself

...they'll be better when Chooch comes back, but right now they suck out loud. The slugger at first base is an embarassment. The manager looks like he's ready to put orange skins in his mouth and chase his grandson around the tomato garden.

Chase Utley is having a good start at the plate, but he has to make that fucking play last night.

EDITED TO ADD: And the offense looked, again, like they thought they only had to show up to win.

They had won 3 in a row before last night, that marlins park is a big time pitcher's park, exact opposite of ours...very tough to hit homers, Phillies do suck at playing small ball and I am sick of manuel's matchups/decisions too they are always wrong but taking 2 series in a row if they win today is not sucking out loud in my book.

Not get timely hit against shit team ... check.

Not play defense against shit team ... check.

Lose game to vastly inferior team ... check.

That's sucking out loud in my book.

Man, ANOTHER loss? Considering there are 162 games in a season, these losses could really start stacking up...

Well, I guess I'm overreacting because games don't count in April and May.

So the ball park was part of the problem against a AAA team? Got it.

Unacceptable. Florida and Atlanta swept the Marlins and the Phils are not. Period! Stop making excuses for this pathetic team Amaro assembled and a manager that is way past his expiration date.

so are the Marlins supposed to go 0-162? I'm not disputing any issues that the Phillies have but your expectations are unattainable.

Did you watch those games ... the Marlins are putrid.

I'm hardly in agreement with Anthony's 24/7 bitchfest, but the Phillies should easily beat the Marlins, who's only legit hitter is out, if they're playing any way close to their potential.

The only way you lose to that team is if you don't bear down and commit errors and leave every fucking duck on the pond ... which is exactly what they did.

It's actually not unrealistic to expect the Phillies with their talent to sweep that series and they played like nonchalant turds last night IMO.

The questions being asked of Manual about whether they're not playing hard enough are being asked for a reason.

When you have Polanco as your clean-up hitter that's all you need to know. Dobbs and Polanco are the Marlins best hitters right now, two Phillies rejects.

no, i didn't watch these games. but we could be in disagreement about the amount of talent on the phillies. i don't think they're a very good team.
