Why? He has to get the players that fit Kelly's scheme. Either he does that or Lurie has to give him the boot. It's basic math. Chip Kelly is owed about 40 mill while Howie is owed a few mill.

If Roseman drops the ball on the first draft or two of the Chip Kelly area the GM will be replaced and the coach will remain.
