I am currently living on the ninth floor of a condo building. In training for Sea Isler 10 miler a week from Saturday so I almost always take the stars.
Last night, inexplicably I take the elevator.
I fish my car and house key out of my running shorts key pocket on the way up. Just as the elevator door opens, my car key slides out of my sweaty hand and falls straight theough the crack between the floor of the elevator and the threshold. If I tried to do it 50 times I probably couldn't have done it once.
So I take the elevator back down and the guy at the security dask says "Please tell me that wasn't your key."
So this morning they raise up the elevator find the key...in pieces. The desk guy put it all back together. When I came down this morning he says "here's your key but...." and tells the tale of its reconstruction.
So I walk outside, hit the button for the trunk release 100 yards from the car and up pops the trunk. Hit the unlock button and it works. Hit the lock button and it works.
I cant hit powerball....but what are the odds?
