He signed his a tender in Buffalo but it appears he wants to be the highest paid safety in the league. He is a free agent next season. That could be an option next off season or even this season and reunite him with Chung who he played with at Oregon.

That would be a stupid move to pay a ton of money to one player
and then you have probably 9 shitty other players on the Defense. Byrd would be a nice addition for a team that is contending for the SB.
The Eagles are in rebuilding mode. They need to draft well in the next 3 yrs with home grown players. -
