Why give up a draft pick. It's not like gordon is going to put this team over the hump

Not sure I would want Gordon on the Eagles, but the Eagles seem to give up plenty of draft picks every year by wasting them on B's, C's and J's.

if he wasn't 1 strike away from a 1 year suspension giving up a 2 for him would be a no brainer.

1 slip up though and he's gone for a year. that's just too big of a risk if i was making the trade. he's worth a 2 but not with that hanging over his head.

I'd give up a 4 for the 2014 year and a conditional 3 in 2015 because of his issues. They aren't getting a second for him.

No disagreement here. Also, you just know that JoeLo knows more about the situation than he is letting on. I would NEVER trust him to make a fair deal.

Does josh gordon play defense? No? Then he'd fit right in. With this team so depleted and untalented on defense, you would have to be huffing chemicals to give up a second. Trade james casey and a 4th or 5th.

                    Agreed

We desperately need help on D, and I wouldn't do it for a 2nd. But he would be a huge addition to WR.

6'3 with the speed of Jackson...

They've won 3 games in a row and a big part of it has been Gordon. Wow, the Browns are dumb...

They just lost their qb and they were looking into a high pick in a deep talent pool

why trade a sure thing for an unknown?

because the sure thing isnt going to help them win a superbowl. they want to make a colts 2.0 type turnaround. my guess is that the fo is probably frustrated with the wins because that pushes them back in the draft. having one horrible year is worth years of prosperity in the future rather than being perpetually mired in mediocrity. they just want to unload for picks at this point. i would pull the trigger if we had a hardass coach, like a bill bel or a bill cowher back in the day to make sure he doesnt screw up but i dont trust chipster to keep him on the straight and narrow.

Yeah save it for the draft

The talent on this teams defense is laughable. As much as I'd like to see another weapon on the team we should be using our higher picks for defense this year.
