  • So bc this team stinks board members can criticize other board members

For how they spend their time and discrecenary money?

Me thinks this type does not deserve to be there when things turn back around.

I personally keep my ass in the seat until the clock hits 0s and I'm proud of it. I will relish the good days that much more because of it. Good riddance to these types of fans

    the funny thing is...

Ref talks about it like he could make such a choice if he wanted to.

LA's pisspoor fans couldn't hold onto the Rams or Raiders and haven't had an NFL team for decades.

Easy to say you wouldn't pay to watch pro football when you don't even have the option to do so.

      Thank you

How is One supposed to defend their fandom in times like these? Those who channel Anthony and condemn how we spend our sundays is an easy target. Ref being on the left coast has a easy task when pointing fingers and saying I told you so...

Like we are given a choice, jump ship, root for another team, don't go, what a joke. I do feel Ref should have his"iggles card" revoked... I guess he does not remember the early 70's and those teams that were bad...

Hate to tell you this, but the NFL wants a franchise in LA ... and London, believe it or not.

I still fart in Ref's supercilious direction.

I don't think they want to move a team to LA ... I think they want a new one.

You're probably right. Are their any cities left where the NFL needs to extort a new stadium? Once they put a team in LA they will lose some leverage.

Jax maybe but I don't see Jax as being successful even in a new stadium.

I also wonder how they would realign the divisions if they added teams.

Revoke Ref Ref's Igglephans Card? Never

Despite the fact he is nearly 3,000 miles removed from The Land Of Hoagies and Soft Pretzels, he's still one of us.

As to his expressed attitude, cut him some slack -- it's all that white wine he drinks that's really talking.

The NFL is in love with the IDEA of a team in LA- as noted by others it offers immense leverage for the league

NFL has stated that they want: (2) teams in NoCal, one AFC and one NFC and the Raiders and 49ers cover that aspect

NFL has also stated their desire to have (2) teams in SoCal, one from AFC and one from NFC

Right now, the Rams are the likely candidate to fill the NFC slot and the AFC slot will be filled by the Chargers, either in San Diego or in LA wherever the stadium gets built

That's the plan from the NFL money guys, unfortunately the a-pathetic LA fans aren't helping the cause. They won't buy anything but a sure-fire winner and sure-fire winners don't get relocated

And they would all draw better than LA

of course they want one that's not the point

the money printing machine that is the NFL wanting a franchise in the second largest media market? Franco is still dead.

I also recognize they will get one at some point...but what will happen first, an NFL franchise in LALA Land or an Eagles Super Bowl win? Both events seem far, far away.

They fact they LOST two franchises already and couldn't pull off the politics needed to get a stadium built is the point.

                            Good question.

                            Birmingham?
                            Las Vegas?
                            Portland?

The Rams were in LA from 1946 until 1995.

Anaheim wouldn't give Frontiere the new stadium/luxury boxes she wanted ... if she got them she would have stayed.

And the Raiders don't count ... the Raiders are Oakland.

And the NFL didn't approve the pay-per-view Al Davis wanted in the second largest media market you mentioned ... plus he didn't get stadium renovations he wanted.

If the NFL didn't think the fans would buy tickets they wouldn't want a team there.

But that doesn't change the fact that you're right about farting in Ref's supercilious direction.
