That's reason #1 for optimism. I'll gladly give him another off-season to sift the turds Reid left in the litter box. I believe he sees what we all see, knows which players need to go and which positions need to be upgraded. I believe he will pull the triggers that need to be pulled. I believe he won't try to challenge the definition of insanity the way his predecessor always did.
