Domo said a coach he talked with who might have an interest in Jackson said the Eagles were "asking for a lot for him".
Bowen also said four interesting things--
1. He doubts that Jackson wouldn't agree to a restructuring. It would put another signing bonus in his pocket up front.
2. He doesn't think Kelly will face a backlash in the locker room. And let's face it, those are the guys that he has to worry about. As Buddy Ryan said, "if as a coach you listen to the fans, one day you'll be sitting with them.
3. Jackson isn't known as a great teammate inside the locker room and his 2 main supporters--Vick and Avant are gone.
4. As I said yesterday the Eagles are in no hurry to trade him. The draft isn't until May and if they can't trade him, they have until the day before the season starts to release him.
The thing that both of them point out is that the Eagles want to get bigger everywhere (Sproles trade notwithstanding), including WR. Mike Sielski pointed that out as well.
The Eagles would still have a (hopefully) a healthy Maclin, Cooper, Celek, an emerging Zachary Ertz, Sproles, Shady, and a rookie.
The other thing Sielski pointed out was that Jackson doesn't match up well with Foles as well as he did with Vick, but Maclin and Cooper did in 2012 when they played together.
