Well, the Eagles had their shot to get the next Brian Dawkins but Reid (FF) and JoeLo passed on it.

The Eagles have a bad habit of giving those kind of contracts to FA's from other teams but not their own guys. I fully expect that philosophy to continue.

It will be very interesting to see how much they value Foles at the end of the season.
