Yeah the dems care so much about the American people - so how come their economic record is so dismal? Stagnant wages, falling income (except for the rich - income disparity has risen), falling home ownership, anemic economic growth, record number of people out of the work force, record government debt, etc, etc. Can't blame everything on the repubs, a huge part of the problem is Obama has no ability to compromise or lead - never has and at this point, never will.

LOL funny... Economic Stagnation and bubbles are the hallmark of the GOP. More jobs, prosperity, GDP growth has been created under Dem leadership than the 'tardlican party.

Hahaha. Did you seriously just spew that bullshit?

            Republican definition of compromise:

Do what we say. We won't compromise.

Jesus. This was the easiest fucking Google search ever.

If the dirty libruls say that their primary goal is to prevent republican reelection, will you happily accept any obstructionist policies on their part?

A real leader would find ways to work with the opposition. This guy just can't or won't do it - period.

can you find a "tax compromise" article from somewhere in time besides his first week in office?
Mitch McConnell: Defeating Obama “single most important job”... really not governing?

Great American Rush Limbaugh comes out as says that he hopes President Obama (and, thus, the nation?) fails.

They decided to contest EVERYTHING and not to work with the president on ANYTHING. This is where that meeting degenerated from benign to malignant. It was Paul Ryan’s contribution to say that the GOP ought to remain united against the president. Draper writes:

“‘But everybody’s got to stick together.’ said Paul Ryan, a thirty-eight-year-old Wisconsin congressman and numbers fetishist whose shiny earnestness recalled an Ozzie and Harriet America” (xvii).

PBO Inauguration GOP meeting.....At the end of the meeting they had a plan. This is where the meeting became a conspiracy against the American people. Draper writes they intended to “Show united and unyielding opposition to the president’s economic policies. . . . Begin attacking vulnerable Democrats on the airwaves. . . . Win the spear point of the House in 2010. Jab Obama relentlessly in 2011. Win the White House and the Senate in 2012″ (xix). so much for that.

Well, first of all, Obama did compromise on tax cuts. Maybe you've forgotten. He also compromised on Obamacare. Remember the public option? Yeah that got compromised right on out of the ACA.

And again, GOP "compromises" are ultimatums. The GOP compromises by shutting down the government. If that is what compromise is, why would Obama go along? He's not supposed to simply bend to the will of the simple majority of 1/6 of the government that is comprised of gerrymandered populist representation.

He was elected with majorities in both elections. He has Senate support and did have House support but even then the GOP did all in their power to obstruct and prevent action.

It's so ridiculous to blame Obama for no compromising on certain issues when his opposition has done everything possible not to compromise on anything.

Obama can't get his nominees accepted by Congress. Talk about making government wasteful - it's especially wasteful when it's not allowed to have people actually do their jobs.

But that is just Obama's inability to lead and compromise I suppose. I guess if he just pick nominees that were Republicans and operated opposite to his positions he'd be just great.

One party has shut down the government in the past 20 years. Is that a coincidence?

I wish you were right but as long as the freeloading pieces of shit are still out there and receiving assistance from the democraps nothing will change. Why would the freeloaders in this country vote for a Republican? They might actually have to go out and get a job.

I'm pretty sure Lockheed Martin, Northrup Gruman, General Dynamics, etc. will all continue to fund and vote Republicans over Democrats as they have done pretty consistently throughout history.

See, plenty of takers prefer Republicans.

It's not ridiculous at all. It's what leaders are supposed to do - lead. Obama blames and divides. And lies - now that's great way to solicit compromise with the opposition party. Funny how you parrot the same lie that the repubs "not to compromise on anything"
