Apparently the "NFL" (Rog) didn't want to see it when it was presented to them (him) -this, according to CBS sports radio this morning.

I don't think a team can impose a suspension under the new CBA, right? I remember hearing that the Steelers wanted to suspend Bell/Blount but couldn't under the agreement.

That was absolutely disgusting. Unbelievable that it got two games when you compare it to Welker or Gordon's suspensions for something that hurt no one but themselves and in no way enhanced their play.

HOWEVER, the coach isn't required to put him on the field either.

Some more cynical folks are stating the only reason the rule became "amended" was the NFL was aware that another video was going to be released so they wanted to stay ahead of the shit storm.
