Is hindsight at its worst. Come on - how could you pass up a chance to take the lead in the game with what should be an easy FG and instead put the entire game on a single play? If they went for it and got stuffed, people would have gone bananas that they didn't take the FG.

I believe you're right to the extent that a good number of them would have engaged in hypocritical bitching if they didn't make it, but I know I wanted him to try to get the first at the time.
