Kiko Alonso injury not believed to be an ACL tear, per report
By Brandon Lee Gowton

The Eagles linebacker might not be seriously hurt after all.
Philadelphia Eagles inside linebacker Kiko Alonso may not have suffered a serious injury despite leaving the team's game against the Dallas Cowboys early with a knee issue
Unconfirmed rumors of an ACL tear spread on Twitter, but Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com is now also shooting those rumors down:
As of Sunday night, a league source told NJ Advance Media that any thought that Alonso's season is definitely over is premature.
Two separate sources close to Alonso also said that the inside linebacker is optimistic the injury is not serious.
Alonso is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday. The results of the testing should shed further light on the extent of the linebacker's injury.
In the meantime, it seems like a positive sign that there are some indications the Alonso injury might not be an ACL. The struggling Eagles especially need Alonso now with DeMeco Ryans struggling and Mychal Kendricks suffering a hamstring injury.
Stay tuned for more updates on Alonso's injury situation.
