Why did the Cavs release Bennett? Not a big NBA fan but wasn't he a high draft pick just a few years back? Can't understand how or why the Raptors were able to sign him.

He was actually traded to Minnesota as part of the Kevin Love trade then released by them. -

I'm not even sure why they drafted the kid in the first place. he was better than average in college, but he wasn't worthy of the #1 pick. I'd have to go back and look at that draft, but I don't think there was a clear cut #1 that year. he was part of the deal that brought Kevin Love, so I'm not mad that they traded him. Can the Raptors take Tristan Thompson, too ? I'm ready for that dude to get the hell out of here.The truth is incontrovertible.
