  • Jahlil Okafor

is going to be a star in this league.

Hope they hold onto him and Nerlens.

He's a keeper, even the refs are lettin him bang the inside. Noel might be the third or fourth option when all the pieces come together.

Brown has already stated that Nerlins will be the free agent

scoring threat. He'll be a defensive beast and run the floor and slash in for offensive rebounds and the occasional mid range jumper.

I love Nerlens. He'll never be the "star" that Okafor has the potential to be, but he does all the little things. These guys are still getting bigger, too. Once Nerlens gets as strong as he can be, he'll be a force. I like watching those two on the floor even if they are down 20.

When he dribbles he reminds me of theo Ratliff...as in , "don't dribble!"...but on the defensive end...I love watching him play.

he runs around like crazy and pressures the play constantly. it's a treat to watch.

lol yeah he won't be running point any time soon. His hustle is great. He plays like he has something to prove.

I think Noel definitely has the potential to be second or third best player on a contender. You're right, he's never going to be the centerpiece of a great team but as the other guy, maybe, or the third guy, definitely.

His ability to poke the ball out, even against guards, is awesome.

                    That's a DQ observation

                    Ball poking, that is.

They should start McConnell. He at least looks like he knows how to play point. Canaan is terrible.

They both suck. Canaan starts because he can score. McConnell refuses to shoot the ball.

I think McConnell sucks less. Canaan can score... But not very well.

Yea, their next big piece needs to be a stud PG

They have their inside guys, even if Embid never makes it back onto the court. Nicki Sauce looks to be a very good shooting guard, if he can stay healthy, and Covington could develop into a big time scoring 3.

Then it will be a matter of filling in around them. They still may not win a whole lot this season, but they have some nice pieces in place right now. And Brett Brown seems to be the perfect guy to develop them all. Gotta love the guy.

That's my big thing - they better give him the opportunity to see this through. I think he's a terrific coach.
