Things were going just a little too well on North Broad St this month.

I guess he figures he's done all he can do here. And I'm sure Baylor is throwing plenty of dough his way.

        Still...it sucks.

They graduate a ton of players this year so it's time to go. He will regret going to Baylor though. The return of Al Golden?

Gonna be tough with only 1 recruit currently in the incoming class.

Will the stench of scum bag Texans taint him?

It will be interesting what with a few of the schools in that shitbag state having new coaches.

Recruiting in Texas is brutal. You need to be tied in with he HS coaches network. A guy from PA is going to have a really hard time to begin with let alone give what Baylor has become. Temple should go after Charlie Strong.

Probably the Sex Pistols version of the song. It's angrier.

                    money money money monnnnnneyyyyyy

                    MOney.

That and to coach in a real conference with a real chance to get to the championship game.

Personally, I hope he does well. But now he's with the big dogs. Al Golden proved that success at Temple doesn't mean success at one of the big schools. That said, we all know a coach from Temple has had some decent NFL success. Could Rhule someday be the Eagles' head coach?

The entire AAC conference is a stepping stone. USF and Houston just got poached too.

I think what makes you a good coach at a place like Temple ends up hurting you at a real program. You need to recruit under the radar and junior college talent where at the big programs you need to win the blue chip game.
