Last year he took on a low level scout position in order to learn how to run an organization. He admitted that he wants to learn this side of the NFL business. The Eagles gave him an opportunity, and hopefully he will thrive at this chance. Former players don't have to go through the coaching ranks or just go to the broadcasting side, the talent evaluation/GM route is just as important.

Good luck to Lynch on the position, he must have really killed it in the interview.
