Nice that he wants to stay since he had to push his stats aside. I wondered how that would work out with him. If he continued as a true workhorse back his career numbers would be among the top guys.

As far as dynamic I don't know that its actually proven that he's not so effective in the pass game.

1. His first year in the league he was pretty respectable.
2. They get Tarik Cohen and want to involve him more for his abilities than Howard's lack of.
3. New Bears coach moves away from his style.
4. Comes to a new team that puts him in an immediate timeshare with a high draft pick and an older version of Tarik Cohen

Years 2,3,4 results have nothing to do with him. Year 1 when he could control his own outcome he did fine.

Jordan Howard is a big back. Not a finesse guy. You pound him up the middle early and often and demoralize the other team.
