What is "out of the box" about Kafka? He's another Reid/KC clone.
Except for maybe Press Taylor, he's about as "in the box" as it gets.

Could Kafka be their target for OC?

No one thought Pederson was a good choice for HC, sometimes out of the box thinking works. Looks like they are looking to talk to him...

Part of this thread really hurt..... but suspect the delay to hire an OC is they are waiting for the Chiefs season to end.
If his health is ok I will admit Caldwell is worth a good look, but I suspect they want to pair Wentz up with someone who could last several seasons.

Kafka would be a shot in the dark. I can't see much of a case for him. He didn't "develop" Mahomes. And Wentz shouldn't need "developing"atvthis point.
My guess is Urban. He's got the experience, time with the Eagles and been in a highly effective but different system. Although I don't want to see Wentz used like Lamar.
Spurrier and Holtz are probably spending a lot of time on the links. Connor Shaw just got hired by Carolina.

I thought they needed someone with new ideas. Kafka is just another Pederson clone. Unless he's bringing Mahomes with him.
Probably the guy.
