What would you think if the starters had played and lost? Or if someone like Slay, Johnson, or Goedert had played and gotten hurt?

I can recall 5 instances in which the Eagles rested in week 17 (2001, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2017). The only time that they lost in the 1st round (2010) was because they faced a better team, not because they rested guys.

Not quite the same scenario, but in 2013 they played to win a meaningless week 16 game and that didn’t do them any favors in the postseason.

It’s just pointless to complain about last night.

Relax man. Frankly I'm surprised this remained a game as long as it did considering it was backups against starters.

The 04 Eagles lost 38-10 to the Bengals in week 17. These games don't matter.
