You obviously go on recommendations and experience, but I'm sure part of the Pittsburgh decision was to avoid flying (although a 5 hour car ride isn't ideal).

Good point. Flying at altitude could aggravate swelling due to the lower air pressure in the aircraft cabin (although Wentz did have to fly back to Phila... or maybe they just flew him straight to Pittsburgh).

If you recall when McNabb tore his ACL his surgery was delayed for a while to wait for the swelling to go down.
