He was offered in a trade to the Toronto Maple Leafs a few years ago whereby Florida would have retained 50% of his salary and Toronto would have had their #1 goalie for $5 mill a year. Instead, the idiot Maple Leafs decided it was better to decline that offer and go with Matt Murray on a 4 year deal with an average yearly salary of $6.75 million (who was often injured) and barely played for the team.
