His dad is Terry Metcalf. A top NFL RB for the St. Louis Cardinals when they were in Eagles division in the mid 70’s. Anyone around at the time will remember him. His uncle is Eric Metcalf. Some may disagree, but I thought Terry Metcalf was better.

D.K. Metcalf may end up getting drafted in the top 10 on pedigree alone, but his tape does show strength, agility and speed. It’s going to be hard for teams to pass on him.

Yes.

The knock is that he may miss some, but that was the knock on Ertz coming out of Stanford. It doesn’t sound like a problem really. Route running is a knock, but it’s not going to be enough. It’s not like Randy Moss was in and out of his cuts like Edelmann.

Edit to add: I remember reading something about him not playing up to his size for contested balls as well. I actually researched him a little because he. was projected in the second half of the first round.
