A few weeks ago I used "wha gwaan" with a Jamaican deli guy I know at a super market I frequent and he was amazed I knew what it was.

DON'T GET ENOUGH, BUT THAT MAKES THE SHOW NOT WATERED DOWN ALSO I GUESS.

Yeah, I tried Peaky without subtitles and bailed after 15 minutes. Couldn't understand a word they were saying.

No idea if it's the best show on Netflix. I dont watch much TV. But it's damned good. You gotta watch closed caption. The accents are difficult.

I've never watched this show but I have to say I preferred watching the Sopranos with closed captioning. And I'm used to a north NJ / NY accent.
