  • OT: Rest In Peace, Tony Curtis

Jamie Leigh's dad passed away overnight of a heart attack. according to the Clark County medical examiner in Las Vegas.

The original Spartacus, born Bernard Schwartz, was 85.

While I don't agree, one of his best known movies, "Some Like It Hot" with Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe, was voted the #1 comedy of all time in 2000 by the American Film Institute.

Thanks for so many memorable roles, Bernie.

"Some Like It Hot" is/was overrated, IMO.

      Curtis played Antoninus...

Kirk Douglas was in the title role. Still, Curtis was quite a talent who, as you noted, gave the world Jamie Lee.

        Jamie Leigh

You correct me, I correct you!

Besides, I was referring to the end of the movie when Curtis stood up and said, "I am Spartacus!"

I just forgot to mention it.

Did Tony Curtis consider the easting of oysters to be moral, and the eating of snails to be immoral?

No, it's Jamie Lee Curtis. Her mother was Janet Leigh.

Tony was quite the cocks-man in his day. Janet Leigh was a POA when he was wrecking that.

I saw Tony Curtis on 58th Street in Manhattan about twenty years ago. He had the most amazing head of snow white hair I've ever seen on a man.
