  • Alex Cora = Doug Pederson?

Nah, nobody can equal Pedey but love what Cora has shown. Seems to have the "emotional intelligence" thing. Another new school manager/coach.

      Enough about Alex Cora.

“Glad you enjoy that fence post up your ass.”

How about you show some emotional intelligence and apologize to Raptor for that out of place and disrespectful comment? Raptor handled that situation with a lot of class. It’s time for you to step up.

imo winning as a baseball manager is more about having the best players than anything else. that's why the red sox have had success with three different managers over the past 15 years. can't really make a comparison to what dougie was able to do without some of his best players.

Yeah, definitely huge advantages to managing a rich baseball team so no comparison in accomplishments. But there does seems to be a trend to more "player aware" managers and coaches.

Can't comment on Kapler's style. All I know about him is when I see Slag complain about some of his decisions. And that the Phillies are playing well.

I take it you are an Eagles and Red Sox fan?

How did that happen? I thought Massholes were the only ones that rooted for Boston teams.

1967 is the key. The Impossible Dream. Yaz poster in my bedroom as a kid. Mostly everyone else where I lived - York - was an Orioles fan. Contrarian I guess. Started as a Packers (1967) fan, then Bert Jones Colts, then Bartkowski Falcons (or was it the other way around) when I moved to South Carolina. Moved back north and got on board the Vermeil/Buddy Eagles train and have stayed there since.

Never lived in New England but WBZ radio had a helluva signal. And the Hartford station.
