      I can't believe he's only 26?!

That's what I am looking for, I think dev or roth said it in another thread but we (yes) need a back that can get a "guaranteed" 3 yards when we need it, and Crow could do that.

Well hell I didn't know that - could have sworn he was ~ 30 year olds

Even more reason for Howie to get on it!!

trying to sign him is a no brainer. should be relatively inexpensive & eagles situation should be very appealing to him & his agent. He could absolutely be 'the guy' here. how many other teams can offer him that?

I think he'd be a very good early down back for us (not them)

I think Crowell's a guy you could bring in to compete at camp. I don't think he's going to merit a guaranteed contract.

                Who's guaranteeing him anything?

But, i have zero doubt he'd make the squad. he's a solid, underrated RB.

I bet he winds up here.

Saw a post on PFT that said the Browns would trade Duke Johnson, too.

Wouldn't mind Duke either. Like the idea of Crow not costing a draft pick and then they could draft an RB.

In Howie I trust however I don't understand why this team ignores LB/RB year over year

We need to stop worrying about LB. They just don't.

They've spent more years with quality RBs than without. I think they'll have their next starter by the second day of the draft.
