  • If I’m that referee

I’m not taking a trip to Italy anytime soon.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

    Wow huh?

How about Buffon walking off for the last time in front of Zidane twelve years after Zidane walked off for the last time in front of him?

      He totally lost it

Crazy that even if our favorite Portuguese player missed the penalty that they would have played one man down for extra time.

Probably, maybe. Three things in life are certain: death, taxes, and the Spanish going down in the penalty area in the 90th minute.

Buffon let the ref have it:

Neither the Referee or any of the players involved are Spanish.

              Shame on you.

Vazquez who went down is Spanish.

Really what I mean by “Spanish” is Barcelona and Real Madrid the big two. That’s why I deliberately used the term Spanish and not Spaniards.

PS as you know my La Liga team is about to get relegated.

My sentimental favorite Málaga is getting relegated.

                    I love that city.

It was probably a penalty. And while Buffon probably deserved to walk the English ref could have kept the card on his pocket.

There was nothing doubtful about it

It was a stone cold penalty.

We all know that if that had happened in the other penalty area NO WAY is the ref pointing to the spot.
