    FF traded AJ Feeley for a 2nd, which is still nuts.

    Wasn't Garrapolo a 2 to begin with? Admittedly, it'll be a high #2 for a guy who's about to get a big contract, but all the Pats did was kick the can down the road (which isn't a bad deal either).

      Yes, anyone with a franchise QB and a good coaching staff can do this. I wanted them to draft Nathan Peterman this year for that purpose. Keep the backup QB costs down, always be grooming a tradable asset.

            I was thinking more like Cassel and Mallet. Seemed like there were damn near bidding wars to get those (perceived) gems, no?
